We are moving my 80 year old parents from florida to new york, to be closer to family. How would we go about transferring their medicare from florida to new york. Any help, would be good. Thanks

If they have Original Medicare (non HMO) all you have to do is change their address. If they are in an Advantage Medicare program (Part C) then you have to find out if the HMO that they are in are also in NY in your area. If not, you have to find another HMO in NY or revert to Original Medicare.
