My mother is 81 years old and resides in Florida.She has medicare and Humana PPO. She needs rotator cuff surgery and I'd rather move her to Maryland to have the surgery and recuperate. Can I do that? Do I need to speak to someone at the insurance company? I would appreciate the help! Thanks

Better check with Humana. With the PPO you can get treatment from outside the plan's provider network, However we have seen a few that have a restriction that requires the treatment to be in their area of coverage. Therefore double check with them to be on the safe side,
