My mother is in a nursing home in Texas. She has both medicare and medicaid. Does she need a medigap policy as well? She has one that is costing her $275 per month and it looks like it covers what medicaid full coverage does.

This is the Medicare trained counseling service. Call and request a counselor to run a benefits check up for your mother, It appears she is eligible for the "extra help" for Part D prescriptions, and also the Medicare Savings program.
