I am a Registered Nurse with my own Independent Nursing business. A friend has a sister who is getting out of the hospital next week and will need home nursing care for wound treatment. The sister has Medicaid and I was I told that I would have to bill Medicaid for services performed. How do I bill Medicaid? How soon can I expect to be paid for these services?

Are you an approved Medicaid provider? if not, you can't bill.
Unless you're working for an approved provider, which then they would bill for your services and you would get paid from the provider according to your compensation agreement.
